Why is it that I can't just want to do one thing? Why can't I be like a whole lot of people who are so focused on one thing that they have no problem working on it every day, and actually getting better at it?
Instead, there are SO MANY things I want to do, even within art styles, that I can't even find the time to develop drawings to the point where I'm satisfied with them, and if I do, I will promptly drop them for other activities or styles... And that goes for dA, too.. how am I ever going to make this thing into an awesome account if I'm only on it for a couple of weeks, then a month of disappearance?? poop.


Also, a pet peeve: Why is it that the artists (especially here on dA) I tend to respond to all end up being kind of assholes? Now, this is certainly not indicative of all, just the few who really get my art juices flowing..(that's funny..) Most people like to think, "Oh, well, he/she's totally full of themself, so it's okay for me to hate them." I don't want to hate anyone! I want to like you, not like your art, then find out you pretty much suck and only click on your devs once in a while bc of it, when I, along with everyone else, could be gaining a whole lot more...

If you're mean, then you probably don't want to contribute too much to the community. That just makes sense. And sadly, I'd love to say that the only way people will really respond to your art is if you yourself are a heck of a nice guy, but that just doesn't seem to be true. How often is it we find that out? That soandso the FREAKING AMAZING is really an asshole? I'm sick of seeing these snotty journal posts condemning copiers that get tons of adoring responses.. Let's take responsibility for the influence we have (we being they -- I certainly don't count myself as the freaking amazing..) and spread civility and warmth. It's not that hard.
